On September 30, 2026, with the beta running, WoW Forever was not in the table: Blizzard announced the beta restarts on its forum.
During the beta, Blizzard has posted maintenance, restarts and the known issues list on the beta forums, in blue. Our tracker reads the US and EU WoW Forever forums every hour and brings those posts to the notices list.

On September 30, 2026, the menu listed World of Warcraft and the Classic versions, but not WoW Forever.
Blizzard posts breaking news about maintenance in the Battle.net app and in the game. If you see none, Blizzard support suggests checking the region and language set in the app.

WoW Forever has no realms: you pick a ruleset (Normal, PvP, Roleplaying and, after launch, Hardcore). Blizzard says the change is meant, among other things, to lessen the tradeoff between long queues and lasting communities.
On September 27, 2026, Blizzard found and fixed a beta issue that was filling the login queue.

When the beta opened, on September 17, 2026, Blizzard announced that during testing it would open the servers for several hours so anyone could get in (a “Server Slam”), with details to come later.
