How much does WoW Forever cost in the US, UK and Latin America?

What you need to play, what each upgrade edition costs, how to see the price for your country, which one gives beta access, what the invite codes are and how long each is on sale.

Short answer

You do not buy WoW Forever separately: it is included with a World of Warcraft subscription or Game Time. The three digital upgrade editions are optional: Skyborne Heroic Pack ($29.99), Skyborne Epic Pack ($59.99) and Warcraft Forever Collection ($79.99). On top of those there is the Collector's Edition, a physical edition at $150. Prices are in US dollars; the Battle.net Shop shows you the price for your country when you buy, and we explain how to check it. Only the Epic Pack and the Warcraft Forever Collection include the beta.

What you need to play

All you need to play Forever is an active World of Warcraft subscription or Game Time. Blizzard is clear about it: World of Warcraft, including Forever, requires a subscription or Game Time, and the upgrade editions are optional.

  • Full access starts at launch, on November 4, 2026.
  • The subscription price is not in the Forever announcements: you can see it on Battle.net.
  • The Epic Pack and the Warcraft Forever Collection include 30 days of Game Time, added to your account from launch. After that, you need a subscription or more Game Time.

Prices in US dollars. We do not convert them: the price for your country is the one the Battle.net Shop shows when you buy. The three digital editions are pre-purchased on the Battle.net Shop; the Collector's Edition, a physical one, is sold separately through the Blizzard Gear Store.

Price in your country

The edition prices on this page are in US dollars. Blizzard's announcements do not give a price per country in pounds, euros or pesos, so we do not list local prices: we have no official source to cite, and converting at today's exchange rate could give you a figure that is not what you will pay.

How to see the price for your country

  1. Sign in to the Battle.net Shop, in the Battle.net app or on the web.
  2. Find World of Warcraft: Forever and open the edition you want: the Heroic Pack, the Epic Pack or the Warcraft Forever Collection.
  3. The price shows in the currency Blizzard assigns to your account based on its country. You see the final amount before you confirm the purchase.

That currency is not always your local one. In Argentina, Blizzard announced in January 2024 that Battle.net would stop charging in Argentine pesos and switch to US dollars (Blizzard's official notice, in Spanish). Blizzard reviews the currencies it supports and their prices from time to time, so always go by the amount the shop shows you. And remember that you do not need any edition to play: a subscription or Game Time is enough, and you can see its price on Battle.net too.

What each edition includes

  • Skyborne Heroic Pack$29.99Battle.net

Access to the Skyborne race and their starting zone, Zephras Isle; Early Name Reservation; the Cerulean Prideclaw ground mount (you need to buy the riding skill in-game to use it); Shen'dorei Skyseer's Garb, the Veteran Adventurer's Rucksack, the Shen'dorei Windwell toy, Skyborne Housing decor for modern World of Warcraft and one Invite-A-Friend Launch Code.

  • Skyborne Epic Pack$59.99Battle.net

Everything in the Heroic Pack, plus beta access, 30 days of Game Time from launch, more Veteran Adventurer–inspired cosmetics, tabards, pets and two more Invite-A-Friend Launch Codes (three in total).

  • Warcraft Forever Collection$79.99Battle.net

Everything in the Epic Pack, plus Warcraft III: Reforged, the new Warcraft III Reforged: Forsaken Kingdom campaign and Forsaken and Human figurine decor for Housing in modern World of Warcraft. It is a limited-time bundle, on sale until January 11, 2027.

  • Collector's Edition$150Blizzard Gear Store

A physical collector's edition. Blizzard sells it through the Blizzard Gear Store while supplies last; its announcements do not list what it includes.

Which edition gives beta access

The beta runs from September 17 to October 21. It is included with the Skyborne Epic Pack and the Warcraft Forever Collection. The Skyborne Heroic Pack does not include beta access: its invite code lets a friend play during launch week. Without buying anything, you can also opt in to the beta on Battle.net: Blizzard sends out invitations to opted-in players throughout the test.

Launch invite codes

Some purchases include Invite-A-Friend Launch Codes, so a friend can try Forever for free during the first week:

  • The Heroic Pack includes 1 code; the Epic Pack and the Warcraft Forever Collection, 3 in total.
  • They arrive by email starting October 20 (Pacific Time). Copy the code and send it to your friend.
  • Your friend redeems it on Battle.net and can play Forever without a subscription or Game Time from November 4 to 11 (Pacific Time).
  • The codes do not include beta access, and gift purchases do not include them.

Name reservation

Every upgrade edition includes Early Name Reservation: from October 27 to November 3 you can create and customize up to three characters. Names are reserved first come, first served, and cannot be guaranteed. In Forever each character has two names, and the combination must be unique within your region.

Frequently asked questions

How much does WoW Forever cost?

Nothing on top of a World of Warcraft subscription or Game Time: Forever is included. The three digital upgrade editions are optional and cost Skyborne Heroic Pack ($29.99), Skyborne Epic Pack ($59.99) and Warcraft Forever Collection ($79.99); the physical Collector's Edition costs $150.

How much is it in my currency?

The prices we have are in US dollars, and we do not convert them. The Battle.net Shop shows the price when you buy, in the currency of your account, which is not always your local one (how to check it).

How much is it in the UK, Mexico or the rest of Latin America?

Blizzard's announcements do not give prices per country, and we do not convert them: the editions cost Skyborne Heroic Pack ($29.99), Skyborne Epic Pack ($59.99) and Warcraft Forever Collection ($79.99) in US dollars. The price for your country is the one the Battle.net Shop shows before you pay, in the currency of your account. In Argentina, Blizzard announced in January 2024 that Battle.net would switch from Argentine pesos to US dollars. See Price in your country for how to check it.

Do I need to buy a pack to play?

No. A subscription or Game Time gives you the full game. The packs add the Skyborne race, name reservation, cosmetics and, from the Epic Pack up, beta access and 30 days of Game Time.

Which edition gives beta access?

The Skyborne Epic Pack and the Warcraft Forever Collection. Not the Heroic Pack.

Can I play for free?

Not permanently: you need a subscription or Game Time. But if a friend buys an edition, they can give you a code to play for free from November 4 to 11. You can also opt in to the beta for free, although getting in depends on being selected.

Can I ride the Heroic Pack mount right away?

Not until you buy the riding skill in-game, as Blizzard points out.

How long is the Warcraft Forever Collection on sale?

Until January 11, 2027. It is a limited-time bundle.

Where can I buy the Collector's Edition?

Through the Blizzard Gear Store, while supplies last. It is a physical edition, separate from the three digital ones, and Blizzard's announcements do not list what it includes.

Does Forever have a WoW Token or paid level boosts?

Blizzard's Forever announcements mention neither, and none of the upgrade editions includes a level boost. All they ask for to play is a subscription or Game Time.
