Fleeing from the Zanzil in that rotting boat seemed wise at the time, but I start to think death would have been a more suitable fate. I thought my ancestors had granted me a boon by allowing me to escape their wrath. But now I wonder what wisdom I shall gain if I live through my imprisonment.
