Quest ID

Classic 1.12 data, not Forever data. The game files do not include quest texts, so this page uses the free CMaNGOS Classic-DB database. Objectives, rewards, experience and positions may have changed in WoW Forever.

In WoW Forever

  • The WoW Forever beta client (build 1.60.1.70205) includes this quest by its number (2988). That does not confirm its text, objectives or rewards are unchanged.

Objectives

  • Check First Cage
  • Check Second Cage
  • Check Third Cage

Quest text: Check the cages at the two Witherbark villages, then return to Gryphon Master Talonaxe.

Starts

  • Gryphon Master TalonaxeClassic position: The Hinterlands 9.8 · 44.5 · View on the map

Ends

Classic 1.12 coordinates on the Forever map; it may be elsewhere in Forever.

CMaNGOS calculation for Classic 1.12: full value up to 5 levels above the quest, less after that. It may differ in Forever.
