Zone

Quest ID

Classic 1.12 data, not Forever data. The game files do not include quest texts, so this page uses the free CMaNGOS Classic-DB database. Objectives, rewards, experience and positions may have changed in WoW Forever.

In WoW Forever

  • The WoW Forever beta client (build 1.60.1.70205) includes this quest by its number (338). That does not confirm its text, objectives or rewards are unchanged.

Objectives

  • Collect 1 × Green Hills of Stranglethorn - Chapter I
  • Collect 1 × Green Hills of Stranglethorn - Chapter II
  • Collect 1 × Green Hills of Stranglethorn - Chapter III
  • Collect 1 × Green Hills of Stranglethorn - Chapter IV

Quest text: Collect the missing pages from The Green Hills of Stranglethorn manuscript. Once all four chapters are complete, return them to Barnil.

Starts

  • Barnil StonepotClassic position: Stranglethorn Vale 35.7 · 10.5 · View on the map

Ends

  • Barnil StonepotClassic position: Stranglethorn Vale 35.7 · 10.5 · View on the map

Classic 1.12 coordinates on the Forever map; it may be elsewhere in Forever.

Rewards

You get:

Classic experience
4,700

CMaNGOS calculation for Classic 1.12: full value up to 5 levels above the quest, less after that. It may differ in Forever.

Classic 1.12 rewards. Blizzard says quest rewards were updated or expanded in Forever, so they may differ.
