Classic 1.12 data, not Forever data. The game files do not include quest texts, so this page uses the free CMaNGOS Classic-DB database. Objectives, rewards, experience and positions may have changed in WoW Forever.

In WoW Forever

  • The WoW Forever beta client (build 1.60.1.70205) includes this quest by its number (3566). That does not confirm its text, objectives or rewards are unchanged.

Objectives

  • Collect 1 × Head of Lathoric the Black
  • Collect 1 × Heart of Obsidion

Quest text: Slay Lathoric the Black and Obsidion, and return to Thorius in Ironforge with the Head of Lathoric the Black and the Heart of Obsidion.

  • Dying ArchaeologistClassic position: Searing Gorge 41.1 · 25.6 · View on the map
