Classic 1.12 data, not Forever data. The game files do not include quest texts, so this page uses the free CMaNGOS Classic-DB database. Objectives, rewards, experience and positions may have changed in WoW Forever.

In WoW Forever

  • The WoW Forever beta client (build 1.60.1.70205) includes this quest by its number (4742). That does not confirm its text, objectives or rewards are unchanged.
  • Blizzard says dungeon quests give extra experience beyond normal quest values in Forever, and build 1.60.1.70170 halved that extra. No figures were given, and the Classic experience on this page does not include it. Source See it in the list of changes

Objectives

  • Collect 1 × Gemstone of Spirestone
  • Collect 1 × Gemstone of Smolderthorn
  • Collect 1 × Gemstone of Bloodaxe
  • Collect 1 × Unadorned Seal of Ascension

Quest text: Find the three gemstones of command: The Gemstone of Smolderthorn, Gemstone of Spirestone, and Gemstone of Bloodaxe. Return them, along with the Unadorned Seal of Ascension, to Vaelan.
The Generals, as told to you by Vaelan, are: War Master Voone of the Smolderthorn; Highlord Omokk of the Spirestone; and Overlord Wyrmthalak of the Bloodaxe.

Starts

  • VaelanNot spawned in the world in the Classic data (an event or a script brings it).

Ends

  • VaelanNot spawned in the world in the Classic data (an event or a script brings it).

Classic 1.12 coordinates on the Forever map; it may be elsewhere in Forever.
