Quest ID

Classic 1.12 data, not Forever data. The game files do not include quest texts, so this page uses the free CMaNGOS Classic-DB database. Objectives, rewards, experience and positions may have changed in WoW Forever.

In WoW Forever

  • The WoW Forever beta client (build 1.60.1.70205) includes this quest by its number (6062). That does not confirm its text, objectives or rewards are unchanged.

Objectives

  • Collect 1 × Taming Rod

You get on accepting it: Taming Rod

Quest text: Use the Taming Rod to tame a Dire Mottled Boar. Practice your skills, then return the Taming Rod to Thotar in Razor Hill.

Starts

  • Thotar <Hunter Trainer>Classic position: Durotar 51.8 · 43.5 · View on the map

Ends

  • Thotar <Hunter Trainer>Classic position: Durotar 51.8 · 43.5 · View on the map

Classic 1.12 coordinates on the Forever map; it may be elsewhere in Forever.
