Classic 1.12 data, not Forever data. The game files do not include quest texts, so this page uses the free CMaNGOS Classic-DB database. Objectives, rewards, experience and positions may have changed in WoW Forever.

In WoW Forever

  • The WoW Forever beta client (build 1.60.1.70205) includes this quest by its number (741). That does not confirm its text, objectives or rewards are unchanged.

Objectives

  • Collect 1 × Mysterious Fossil

You get on accepting it: Mysterious Fossil

Quest text: Take the mysterious fossil to Chief Archaeologist Greywhisker in Darnassus.

Starts

  • Archaeologist Hollee <Explorers' League>Classic position: Darkshore 37.4 · 41.8 · View on the map

Ends

  • Chief Archaeologist Greywhisker <Explorers' League>Classic position: Darnassus 31.2 · 84.5 · View on the map

Classic 1.12 coordinates on the Forever map; it may be elsewhere in Forever.
