Classic 1.12 data, not Forever data. The game files do not include quest texts, so this page uses the free CMaNGOS Classic-DB database. Objectives, rewards, experience and positions may have changed in WoW Forever.

In WoW Forever

  • The WoW Forever beta client does not include this quest in its list. Neither does the Classic Era client, where the quest is in the game: that list does not hold every quest, so we cannot confirm it is still in Forever.
  • In the Forever client, Tactical Task Briefing III starts this quest.
  • In the Forever client, Tactical Task Briefing III starts this quest; in the Classic data it does not.

Objectives

  • Collect 1 × Tactical Task Briefing III
  • Kill 1 × Earthen Templar

You get on accepting it: Tactical Task Briefing III

Quest text: Summon and slay an Earthen Templar and report back to Bor Wildmane in Cenarion Hold. You must also bring Tactical Task Briefing III in order to complete this quest.

Starts

  • Starts with Tactical Task Briefing III

Ends

Classic 1.12 coordinates on the Forever map; it may be elsewhere in Forever.

Rewards

You get:

  • Cenarion Tactical Badge
  • Followup Tactical Assignment
Classic experience
650

CMaNGOS calculation for Classic 1.12: full value up to 5 levels above the quest, less after that. It may differ in Forever.

Classic 1.12 rewards. Blizzard says quest rewards were updated or expanded in Forever, so they may differ.
