Quest ID

Classic 1.12 data, not Forever data. The game files do not include quest texts, so this page uses the free CMaNGOS Classic-DB database. Objectives, rewards, experience and positions may have changed in WoW Forever.

In WoW Forever

  • The WoW Forever beta client (build 1.60.1.70205) includes this quest by its number (8762). That does not confirm its text, objectives or rewards are unchanged.

Objectives

  • Collect 1 × Pouch of Reindeer Dust
  • Find Metzen the Reindeer and rescue him

You get on accepting it: Smokywood Satchel

Quest text: Find Metzen the Reindeer. Use the notes provided to you for clues as to where he is being held.
When you find Metzen, have the Pouch of Reindeer Dust in your possession so you can sprinkle some of the dust on him; this should free Metzen from his bonds of captivity.
Return the Pouch of Reindeer Dust to Wulmort Jinglepocket in Ironforge once Metzen is freed.

Starts

  • Wulmort Jinglepocket <Smokywood Pastures>Classic position: Dun Morogh 56.5 · 31.9 · View on the map

Classic 1.12 coordinates on the Forever map; it may be elsewhere in Forever.
