Quest ID
9362

Classic 1.12 data, not Forever data. The game files do not include quest texts, so this page uses the free CMaNGOS Classic-DB database. Objectives, rewards, experience and positions may have changed in WoW Forever.

In WoW Forever

  • The WoW Forever beta client (build 1.60.1.70205) includes this quest by its number (9362). That does not confirm its text, objectives or rewards are unchanged.

Objectives

  • Collect 1 × Prismatic Shell

Quest text: Retrieve the Prismatic Shell for Archmage Xylem. The Archmage resides in a tower atop the cliffs of Azshara.

Rewards

9,500

CMaNGOS calculation for Classic 1.12: full value up to 5 levels above the quest, less after that. It may differ in Forever.

Classic 1.12 rewards. Blizzard says quest rewards were updated or expanded in Forever, so they may differ.
