Countdown for your site or stream
Put the WoW Forever launch countdown on your website, your blog or your OBS scene. It is free, has no ads or cookies, and switches to “Now live!” by itself on launch day.
Pick a look
Change the theme, size or language: the preview, the code and the OBS address update as you go.
Made for guild websites, blogs and communities, and for streamers who want it in their OBS scene. Got a guild? List it in the guild directory too →
The countdown runs on the clock of the device showing it.
On your website or blog
- Copy the code.
- Paste it wherever your site accepts HTML. In WordPress, use a “Custom HTML” block.
- It fits the width of the column and gets smaller on phones.
- Keep the text link underneath: it credits us and helps other players find the countdown.
In OBS or Streamlabs
- In OBS Studio, under “Sources”, click + and choose “Browser”.
- Paste the address into “URL” and set the width and height shown here.
- The transparent theme has no background: place it on top of your scene.
- Streamlabs Desktop and other apps with a browser source work the same way.
Twitch does not allow code in channel panels, so the countdown goes in your OBS scene. A panel can link to the countdown page.
On Discord
Discord does not show other sites’ countdowns inside the chat. Paste the link to our launch page instead: Discord shows its preview, and anyone who opens it sees the countdown in their own time.
Questions
Which time does it show?
The countdown is the same everywhere. Underneath, it shows the launch time in the time zone of the device displaying it. Blizzard’s official time is November 4 at 3:00 PM PST (11:00 PM UTC).
What happens on launch day?
When it reaches zero it switches to “Now live!” and shows the official launch time. You do not have to change anything.
Does it have ads or cookies?
No. It has no ads, sets no cookies and loads nothing from other sites.
How much does it cost?
Nothing. We only ask you to keep the text link that comes with the code.
