WoW Forever Holy Paladin BiS at level 30

Healer
role
6/16
new in Forever
15/16
with a known source

Summary

This is the site’s suggestion for Holy Paladin at level 30, not an official list: we use our Holy stat weights to score every item a Paladin can use with a required level of 30 or lower, and pick the best one for each slot. Level 30 is the current beta level cap.

Stat priority of the list, per point: Mana per 5 sec > Healing = Spell Power > Intellect. Percentage stats count too, per 1%: spell critical strike.

The highest-scoring pieces:

6 of the 16 pieces are new in Forever and 15 have a known source.

Relic

Relic: not scored

More on Holy Paladin

Reasoning: Healer built around Holy Light and Flash of Light: healing is the king stat and spell power counts the same because it heals too. Intellect weighs more than for other healers thanks to Illumination (each crit refunds half the spell's base mana cost), so 1% crit ≈ 8 healing. 1 mana per 5 s ≈ 2.5 healing in long fights. No ranged slot: librams are not scored. Weapon + shield, weapon + off-hand item and two-hander are compared.

Heads up: the beta is capped at level 30 and the weights are indicative, tuned for level 60 with no simulations behind them. Sources come from the WoWSims Forever database and, for items that already existed in Classic, from the Classic 1.12 database (CMaNGOS Classic-DB, marked "Classic data": they may change in Forever); an item without a source may not be obtainable yet. Set bonuses and procs are not scored. Everything will change with each build.

Treat these lists as a starting point: your talents, enchants and play style may make another piece the better pick.
