Classic 1.12 data, not Forever data. The game files do not include quest texts, so this page uses the free CMaNGOS Classic-DB database. Objectives, rewards, experience and positions may have changed in WoW Forever.

In WoW Forever

  • The WoW Forever beta client (build 1.60.1.70205) includes this quest by its number (3373). That does not confirm its text, objectives or rewards are unchanged.
  • The Forever client does not include Essence of Eranikus, the item that starts this quest in Classic.
  • Blizzard says dungeon quests give extra experience beyond normal quest values in Forever, and build 1.60.1.70170 halved that extra. No figures were given, and the Classic experience on this page does not include it. Source See it in the list of changes

Objectives

  • Collect 1 × Essence of Eranikus

You get on accepting it: Essence of Eranikus

Quest text: Place the Essence of Eranikus in the Essence Font located in this lair in the Sunken Temple.

Starts

  • Starts with Essence of Eranikus

Ends

Classic 1.12 coordinates on the Forever map; it may be elsewhere in Forever.

Rewards

You get:

Classic experience
2,800

CMaNGOS calculation for Classic 1.12: full value up to 5 levels above the quest, less after that. It may differ in Forever.

Classic 1.12 rewards. Blizzard says quest rewards were updated or expanded in Forever, so they may differ.
