Arms best-in-slot (BiS) gear

The site’s suggestion, not an official list: we score the beta items with our stat weights for each level. The beta is capped at level 30.

Top picks at level 60

The two highest-scoring pieces in three slots. It is a forecast: until the beta reaches 60, items and their sources may change.

Why these weights

Arms is all about the two-hander: each point of weapon DPS is worth about 13 attack power (6.5 strength), and slow weapons hit harder with Mortal Strike, so speed is rewarded. 1 strength = 2 AP; agility gives crit (20 agi ≈ 1%) and a little dodge; 1% crit ≈ 24 AP and hit is worth even more. In Classic the hit cap against bosses was 9%; Blizzard has not given Forever's now that hit is one shared stat. Stamina matters for surviving dungeons, but below damage.

Races that can be a Warrior

The races that can pick the class in WoW Forever. The ones marked new are combinations Classic did not have.
